Sentiment Analysis Lesson Plan

In this 50-minute lesson for Grades 6-8, students will learn about how computers can interpret positive and negative feelings in text data. They will do so by completing an unplugged activity that simulates the sentiment analysis process. Then, with their results, they will test the same sentences with a machine learning model.
